Presley and EJ Davila
are adopting a child from United States of America
After much prayer and planning, we have decided to adopt!
We have been married for almost eleven years, and as many of you know, medical conditions have prevented us from childbearing, and we have been unable to adopt via foster care. As Christians, we find adoption to be socially important and theologically rich, and so we have decided to embark on this huge undertaking.
Adoption, unfortunately, is financially prohibitive. The average cost of adoption in Kentucky is about $40,000, most of which is due at the time of matching. For this reason, we are attempting to raise $25,000 to help us complete the process.
If you able and feel called to help, we deeply appreciate your help. If you cannot contribute monetary, we deeply appreciate your prayers.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us.
Thank you! -EJ and Presley

Update 3
Disrupted Adoption
August 12, 2025We are heartbroken to update everyone that our adoption of Leo has been disrupted. The birth parents revoked their consent, and they have decided to place Leo with a family member instead.
As you can imagine, this is extremely surprising and difficult for us. We appreciate prayers as we work through the grieving process and slowly reevaluate how we will proceed on our adoption journey.

Update 2
Home at last!
August 9, 2025Hey everyone,
We received an email about a potential case regarding a three-year-old boy, and less than twenty-four hours later, we brought Leo home. We still have a few days before all the paperwork is finalized, so please in prayer that the next week will go smoothly.
Thank you all for your support!

Update 1
Home Study approved!
March 3, 2025Our Home Study has been approved, and we now have access to potential adoption cases. Now comes the waiting. We can submit our book for consideration to any open adoption case, and then we wait to see if we are matched.
We appreciate all of your giving and prayers during this process.
