Our Story Isn't Over!
Most of our friends and family know that Kevin Dennis and I have been trying to have a baby or adopt since 2018. We got our first positive pregnancy test in 2021 but lost the baby three months later. We've been through all the emotions. Since the miscarriage, and even before that, we have gone back and forth about adoption and foster care and pregnancy. We just desperately want a family of our own and have been trying to find the best route to that end. I had really given up hope of anything working out for us, but Kev has declared that this is it. We are adopting no matter how long it takes or what we have to do. We both want this so much and we feel like we have been waiting for our baby since 2018. The last time we tried to do fundraisers for the adoption (because they are ridiculously expensive), we didn't have much luck. It was heartbreaking to have set our sights on something that seemed out of reach. BUT we believe that this is our time and somehow some way this will all come together at the right time. In total, we and the agency estimate we could need about $30,000. SO, if you are still reading this…Thanks. Also, we need your help. We don't have a very big circle and we definitely don't have anyone rich to just hand us some money. lol We will be doing fundraisers to help us with fees and we will be transparent about what is going on. If you cannot help us financially, we completely understand, but ask that you please pray for us and spread the word. The more people involved the easier this will be…hopefully.
