Jeremy & Megan Diaz

are adopting a child from United States of America

For years, we have waited and prayed for the right time. Recently, The Lord said NOW.

We took our first step towards ADOPTION & applied to a local adoption agency. We have decided to adopt a baby from a local agency. In the middle of May, we applied and were put on the first waiting list and praying to move to the active waiting list. Well, we just got word- we can officially be moved to the active waiting list.

What does this mean?

First, we have to complete more paperwork and a homestudy. Once complete, we officially will be on the active waiting list. The active waiting list is a list of families seeking to adopt that will be presented to any birth moms. From there, it’s more paperwork and being chosen by a birth parent.

This is really exciting news! Also huge to be moved to the active waiting list so quickly!

We would love you all to partner with us on this journey!

How can you join us? PRAYER! We would love for you to pray for our future little one, for the birth family, and for us. We truly trust The Lord with it all and He has been so faithful! There are so many steps still ahead. God knows the timing of it all! 🙌🏻

Financially- adoption is really expensive but absolutely worth it! The costs seem overwhelming and we couldn’t do it alone. We also trust God to provide every step of the way! We’ve had several friends and family who have asked for ways to support and provide towards making this happen. This is our fundraising page if you choose to support in this way. Our first big cost will be the Homestudy process and agency fees that are needed to be complete to be on the active waiting list officially. Then after, we will have addition cost of placement, court, lawyer, etc. We will keep everyone updated along the way.

We are really excited about what God has in store! It feels surreal if I’m honest. We have waited so long and tried our hardest to be faithful and obedient along the way. There is so much waiting ahead. So many steps to still take. So much unknown. We also know God said NOW. We take steps of obedience and pray in faith for BABY DIAZ. 🥰🥹

    Baby Girl 🤍

    March 7, 2026

This weekend we drove to Sioux Falls for an appointment for our baby girl. There were a few test done because of a few genetic markers that had shown up. We were so grateful to be able to attend an appointment with the birth mom! Baby girl is 100% healthy and all tests came back negative. Which is a huge answered prayer and such good news to hear she’s doing well! During the appointment, we got to hear her heartbeat for the first time. It’s was such a special moment and a gift! It was one we didn’t expect but incredibly grateful for.

During our weekend, God did so many amazing things. One knowing our little girl is healthy. We also got over 4 hours with her birth mom. This visit was much different. She genuinely is trying to make good choices and not turn to drugs. She’s asking for prayers during this time. We are constantly praying for her and would love for you to join us in that! Our conversation and time with her was such a blessing. We got to learn so much about her, our baby’s story, and even about her birth dad. Now it’s all things we can share with our little girl one day. Her birth mom also shared with us an ultrasound pic from her 26 week appointment. She’s now 28 weeks. It was another incredible moment getting to see 3D pics of our little girl for the first time!!!

The other amazing moment was meeting our daughter’s sister and her parents. We reached out when we were going to be in town offering to connect. Thankfully it worked for us to have dinner together!!! They are the absolute sweetest family! We are grateful for new friends and that our daughter gets to know her sister. Her sister is so sweet, funny, incredibly smart, and caring!

There are so many moments and little details from this weekend. We are truly grateful for God’s goodness and faithfulness!

We are continuing to ask for prayers for birth mom, Regina, and our little girl. Regina is trying to get accepted into a halfway house to have a safe home and be away from temptation. She truly desires to care for herself and our little girl. Please pray that she can get a safe home and to stay away from temptations.

Thank you everyone for your continued prayers!!! ❤️

Thank you to everyone who has donated!!! 🙌🏻

    December 30, 2025

Today we updated our home study. We have to do this each year. It was such a great meeting that left us really encouraged & reminded us of the same thing God keeps reminding us of. It’s all in God’s perfect timing!

Our adoption agent is so sweet and we really enjoyed our conversation with her! She did share that our adoption book is showing really well and not to change anything. We just haven’t been matched because it’s not our little one. Which God has continued to remind us that it will be in The Lord’s timing. We know that God is continuing to move in the wait and aligning everything.

One thing we have prayed and trusted God for in this process is the adoption cost. Between the grant & everyone’s generous donations, we believe that our adoption is fully funded! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Yes, some fees we have to estimate like lawyer/ finalization fees. We truly believe that we have everything needed. This is a huge answered prayer & honestly feels like a huge wall that has been moved out of the way.

THANK YOU to everyone who has generously given towards our adoption!!! We couldn’t have done this without you and we are forever grateful!!! 🥹❤️

Now we truly are just praying & waiting for God’s perfect timing! We know one day that call will come. We can’t wait for the day that we get to bring Baby Diaz home. God definitely is doing so much for our little one already! It’s going to be beautiful sharing with our little one all that God has done for them. 🙌🏻🥰

    Adoption Agency Fees- Fully Funded

    December 19, 2025

As of this morning, we have even more exciting news! The adoption agency portion is officially fully funded! What does this mean? Between the adoption grant, money raised, and savings, we have all the fees to pay the adoption agency. We will still have lawyer fees and court fees for sure. Any additional fundraising will go towards those costs. There could be other things that come up depending on the circumstances of our little one.

We are celebrating and praising God for making everything come together! Even though we are still waiting to be matched, we wait with such faith and hope knowing God is working out every detail. It feels like a huge weight has been lifted and all obstacles are moving out of the way.

While we wait, we pray for our little one! We are praying for health and God’s perfect timing. We are praying for the birth parents and their current circumstances. We are asking for favor and for the birth parents to clearly choose us. We are praying for all the unknown details in between.

Thank you for continuing to be a part of our adoption journey!!!

    Grant Received!!!

    December 18, 2025

We have exciting news that is a huge answered prayer!

The financial cost of adoption is a lot. It's been one of the biggest areas of faith besides waiting to be matched and meeting our little one. We have been saving, raising money, and applying for grants. A few months ago we applied for a grant through Help Us Adopt. When submitting the application, we really felt like God asked us to ask for the impossible when it came to the grant request.

Last week, we had been asked to a follow up phone call with the organization. After that, we were praying to be chosen to receive the grant. While we were hoping for a set amount, we would be so grateful for any amount.

Yesterday we got a call that we had been awarded the grant. Not just awarded the grant BUT that we had been given the impossible amount God placed on our hearts to ask for!!! We have been awarded $15,000 from Help Us Adopt!!! We were absolutely blown away and incredibly thankful to the generosity of this organization. Even more to God who placed this amount on our hearts and called us to take a leap of faith. God has been so faithful every step and provided every single time! This helps us get really close to our adoption financial goals.

Here is where we stand with the grant and money raised. (The amount of money ready to pay to the agency/ amount donated, saved) We currently have $27,600 between adoption funds left and the grant.

With the adoption process, there are some things that we have to estimate for expenses right now. We will owe the agency about $28,650. (Yes, we only need $1,050 until our adoption agency portion is fully funded!) Then we also have adoption lawyer fees estimated between $1,500-$5,000. There could be other fees like traveling, hospital, etc. Some we can't account for right now. We always want to openly share and give you all the most accurate account we can.

We are looking at anywhere from $30,150-$33,650 estimated in total expenses remaining. This is the amount to pay towards the agency, lawyers, etc.

It means we only need to raise about $2,650-$6,150. (This is the amount still to raise) We are really excited to be this close to having our adoption fully funded!!! We are very close and this feels like huge weight has been lifted.

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far! We can't wait to share with Baby Diaz about the amazing people who helped to bring our little one home and the amazing faithfulness of God!!!

We continue to wait to be matched. Yesterday definitely gave us a reminder that God is working it all out! Thank you for praying and being a part of our journey!

    Book being shown!

    August 19, 2025

We have had multiple request for our book to be shown to birth families.

In one situation, a baby had already been born and was waiting in the hospital while the mother chose an adoptive family. In the end, the mother did choose a different family to adopt the sweet baby. Jeremy and I were sad but also at peace. We fully trust that God knows who the right family is for each child. We continue to trust in His plans as we wait.

With that, our book is getting shown to more birth moms. In all cases of our book being shown, the child was already born or would be with in a month. This has lead us to believe that while the wait feels like forever...things may change quickly! We do not know when we will get chosen but it could happen very quickly.

We are actively trying to raise money for our adoption! We have applied for one grant and waiting for review in September. We will be applying for more. With each grant, the review can also be a waiting game. Depending on when we get chosen and the situation, there may not be time to wait.

Our agency does require financial payments at each step of the process.
Matched/ Chosen: we pay the agency $10,000
Baby is born: we pay another $10,000
6 months after the baby is born: we pay another $10,000
Additionally: we have to pay for 3-5 home visits after the baby is in our home. Each visit would cost $800 a piece. Then we have to hire and pay for a lawyer. This lawyer will go with us at the 6 month court hearing to help us legally take custody of our little one. These costs are all on top of the home study and agencies fees that we have already paid.

Jeremy and I are praying every step of the way! We are waiting on God's timing and trusting in Him. Another piece is trusting God with the finances. Adoption is expensive! All the costs and deadlines can feel like overwhelming mountains. Honestly, if I think about it too much, it feels impossible. Thankfully God reminds me that He likes to do the impossible! We are doing what we can by applying for grants and praying for God to make a way.

Thank you everyone who has supported us this far!!! Your prayers matter! The financial sacrifices you have made all matter! We are beyond grateful!!!
