We have big news! We are expanding our family by adopting a little girl I from India! We are excited for this journey God has called us on. Lorraina is beyond ecstatic to have a little sister, and asks daily when we can go pick her up.

We are dong everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful little girl into our home.

As part of our adoption process, we have started this campaign. It may be a surprise to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 +. This is why we have set a goal of $30,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.

We hope that inviting you to walk this process with us, you will see yourself as a part of this community we hope to build around our new daughter as she grows up.

    And Now we Wait

    March 29, 2024

    Our documents got submitted at the beginning of March. We are now in the waiting phase; waiting for registration to CARA, waiting for India approval, and waiting to match with our future daughter.
    Shelby is not good at waiting and has started filling her time with grant applications.
    Continue to pray for Gods hand over this process and us to learn to trust in His timing.

    End of year update

    December 31, 2023

    We have been busy busy getting our home study completed!!!
    Both Jacob and Shelby’s passport have come in and just waiting on Lorrainas to finalize all the Dossier documents to send off to India.
    We will be making a trip to the Indiana Secretary of State soon to get all our documents apostille before sending them off for Indias approval.
    God has big plans for 2024, we can feel it.
