Dear Family & Friends,
For those of you that do not know we have always had a passion for helping children. We started a non-profit to help ensure the safety of children. Over the past year we have become foster parents and had eight children come in and out of our home.
Now, we have BIG news!
We are adopting a newborn baby!
What does adoption mean to us?
Adoption means so many things to us. First, it means having the opportunity to grow our family in a new way and to have the chance to bring another human being into our lives. It also means having the chance to make a difference in someone else’s life no matter the race or gender. We really feel called to adopt because we want to do something bigger than ourselves. We are excited to welcome another child into our home full of life, love, and laughter.
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $10,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. We hope to meet our goal by July 31, 2020.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
