Update! My little one is finally here! I brought home my sweet baby girl last week after spending 11 days with her out of state while waiting for the legal process to be completed so I could bring her home to Texas. It has been one of the busiest and wildest journeys I’ve been on so far, but I am so overwhelmed with gratitude for her and for the support of my friends and loved ones 🩷.

I’m still working on grants to help fund the legal and agency fees, as well as the travel costs that came with the journey. Thankfully, everything has gone as smoothly as could be expected, and we feel incredibly blessed to be starting our new lives together. Photos to come in the near future!

I have some BIG news! I’m adopting a child! I’ve chosen adoption with deep intention and love—knowing that every child deserves a safe, stable, and joy-filled home.

This journey is not just about welcoming a child into my arms—it’s about welcoming them into a community filled with love, faith, family, and friends who will help shape their future.

In addition to applying for adoption grants and loans, I have started a crowd based fundraising effort to assist with adoption-related costs. It may surprise you to know that adoption-related costs can total $50,000 to $60,000 or more. My fundraising goal is $45,000 to help ease the financial burden that can quickly become overwhelming. These funds will go toward agency fees, legal expenses, home study costs, and travel if needed—allowing me to focus fully on preparing for and nurturing the child I will welcome home.
