We are adopting an 11-year-old boy!
We are beyond exciting and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a handsome young boy into our family.
As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related costs can easily total up to $40,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $35,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. As well as after adoption costs like reports that are due from social workers 3 months, 6 months, 1 year after the child has arrived home.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we want to build around our child as he grows up.
