Hi! Big news- We are growing our family through the miracle of adoption!
Richard and I have always talked about adopting, even before we had our boys. Life has been wild and fun moving from state to state as Richard served in the United States Air Force. And during that time, God has blessed us with the three most precious boys, who we love beyond measure. Fast forward to the birth of our third son, Zeke, doctors advised Richard, while I was still on the operating table, that I should not carry any more children for health reasons. As full as our hearts are, we know that we have so much more love to give and that there is a missing piece to our family. Recently we have been praying, and we feel led to move forward with an infant domestic adoption. We are over the moon excited and delighted to say we are in the final steps before we begin presenting to potential families. The process to adopt is expensive! From the beginning stages, through post placement fees, the figures ballpark $35,000. As overwhelming as it sounds, we believe that God will always provide a way. That being said, we also believe it takes a village to raise a child. As we invite you onto this journey with us, we hope that you will see yourself as part of the community we are trying to build around our children. I have an exciting update that is way overdue! We are matched with the most precious birth mother that is due in June. We got the call Christmas Eve that she chose us and we were and are overjoyed! We matched pretty early in the pregnancy which has given me the opportunity to build a beautiful friendship with birth mama. We have plans to meet in Florida during spring break and could not be more excited!
Also baby boy has a name!! Zander Kayd will be after my precious granny who was my all time bestie and passed in 2019.
We have seen Gods hand in this journey time and time again and we are so grateful for the generosity and love we have received. Please continue to pray for our growing family, for birth mama, and for our sweet Zander as he continues to grow, and for an easy and safe delivery.

We are officially an active and waiting family. This means we have completed all the necessary steps so that we are able to see protentional birth mamas. We are so so excited to for this step.
