Aimee was a foster child from age 3-7. She was adopted at 7 years old, hand picked by God to be in the best Christian family. She felt God gave her the desire to adopt from a young age. When Aimee and Patrick decided to get married, Patrick could see God ordained this desire, and they agreed they would one day adopt. They got married nearly 16 years ago. They had 3 biological children. They prayed about whether to continue their biological family. God was clear that their next child or children would be adopted. 15 months ago, we adopted Gabriella into our family. Not so long after we received her into our home, Aimee was going through the boy things we didn’t end up using, wondering if they should keep them. She couldn’t bear to part with some of it, and God began to speak to her heart. We always knew we wanted 4 children. God said, you’re not done yet.
