From Day 4 to Forever 💜

I’ve had P since she was just 4 days old. She’s now one week shy of turning 7 — and every single day, I’ve shown up as Mom. Now, it’s time to make our bond official through adoption.

The process is a long and costly one, especially for a single mom working in education. Though there are grants available, they only kick in after the adoption is finalized.

I’m raising $5,000 to finally get us across the finish line. Here’s where the funds are going:

🔹 $750 – Application to Adoption & Beyond 🔹 $3,750 – Required home study services 🔹 $350–$400 – Court filing fees to begin the legal process 🔹 Attorney fees – The State of Missouri will pay up to $1,500 directly to the attorney. Any additional legal costs beyond that will come out of pocket.
