We are so excited to share that we're expanding our family!
After thirteen beautiful years of adventure as a couple, we are now in the process of welcoming a new soul to the Ford family. We have dreamed of being dads ever since we can remember, and now we know we are finally in a location and point in our lives that we can give our child everything they deserve.
A little about us! We met and fell in love pretty instantly in the fall of 2009. We were both lost and beat down by love at the time and that presented its own challenges, but like any wound, we have come back stronger and continue to build our love every single day.
We are a family that loves animals, nature, cooking, creating art in all ways, learning from our mistakes, and experiencing new things. We laugh, we cry, we give, we accept with gratitude, and we believe all souls deserve a chance at this crazy thing called life when they’re ready to join us all.
As you are probably aware, bringing a baby home under any circumstance is no easy task. We have even tried talking ourselves out of wanting a child because of the requirements it takes for those in our position, but we know our patience and dedication will have paid off once they're in our arms.
We have the home, support, and, most importantly, love to raise our child, but the required costs of adoption does leave us in a position of needing to pray for a blessing to make this happen. We do not take asking for help lightly, and please know that our gratitude will grow every time we look into our child's eyes.
