We have big news that we want to share. After facing two missed miscarriages and a difficult diagnosis that prevents us from having more biological children, we feel that God has opened the door for us to adopt. Through a lot of prayer, time in Scripture, and many conversations, we feel that this is what God is calling us to do. We are so excited! We are home study approved, working with an agency in Florida, and waiting to be matched with an expectant mom. This process can easily take 1-2 years (sometimes more or less). Adoption is not easy, so we ask for your prayers as we enter this season.
As part of our adoption process, we have started saving money and fundraising. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total $40,000-60,000 (sometimes even more).This is why we have set a goal of raising $15,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
