As you already know… WE ARE ADOPTING!! After completing our home study we are now ready for the next steps. We have put together our profile book and will soon start working with agencies and lawyers. You may be surprised to know that domestic adoption can cost anywhere between $40,000 to $60,000. Birth mother living expenses, adoption agency fees, medical expenses and legal fees are the main charges involved. For this reason we have set our fundraising goal of $30,000 to help us offset the cost. We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as they grow up. Thank you <3
