We are the Garcias, and we are adopting!
We are so excited to begin this journey. We have always dreamed of having a big family, but that dream was crushed after I got pregnant with our twins. That pregnancy was really hard on me and the delivery was not easy either. We had to make the hard decision for me to get a tubal ligation, due to the fact that it would not have been safe if I were to get pregnant again.
As part of the adoption process, we decided to try a crowdfunding campaign to try to help cover the costs of adoption. With legal fees, adoption fees, and all of the other fees that go into adoption, things can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we are trying this so that we can have assistance with easing the financial burden that can very well be overwhelming for an adoptive family.

About us: Gabriel is a full-time firefighter for the city that we reside in, and I am a Suicide Prevention Liaison for a Behavioral Health company, I am also working on my Master’s degree and will soon be an LPC. We have been together for 12 years and have 3 beautiful children. Our oldest is a boy and our twins are a boy and a girl, we have 2 dogs, and 2 guinea pigs. The only thing we are missing to complete our family is our final baby.
