Sadly the birth mother that I was paired with has stopped communication. We are now back to the waiting game. Please pray that I find another match and can continue to move forward with my life dream of being a mom! Just trying to stay positive at the moment.

Exciting news! For the last few years I have been working towards the goal of starting my own family, this journey has led me to adoption! I have been laser focused on this goal for the last 3 years and have gone through many ups and downs. I have had the desire to be a mom ever since I was ten years old and met my nephew for the first time. I think children are the greatest blessing we are given, unfortunately after failed relationships this opportunity has not happened for me. I have had family members adopt and bring wonderful children into our family and I knew that this was the path I was also meant to take to have my own little family. I have been paired with a birth mom and am very hopeful that I will soon have my life’s dream happen. You may not know that a domestic adoption can be upwards of $40,000 or more, which is why I have set a crowdfunding goal of $20,000. I am an extremely independent person Making the decision to ask for help from others was a very difficult choice for me to make. However I have learned over the last couple of years that God’s plan is not for us to always do it on our own, I have learned to set my pride aside, in doing so I have found amazing support in my community around me. While I was able to come up with the majority of the funds needed, now in my final stages of my adoption journey I am seeking help with court fees, attorney fees and final expenses. I’m humbled and eternally grateful for any and all help you can give and look forwarding to having you in my adoption community. As the saying goes “it takes a village” and I’m building ours one step at a time.

Just a quick update for everyone, I have decided to try and look for a private adoption as I was once again flaked on by birthmothers. I had been paired 3 more times since the one last December. I am just trying to stay as positive as I possibly can. I know the Lord does have a plan for me to start a family and feel that this route is going to be a wonderful option for me. I am trying to get my profile and homestudy out to as many people as a can. Attorneys, pasters, preachers, bishops, neighbors and friends. If anyone would like or be willing to help me spread my profile around I would be extremely grateful. Thank you all again for your continued love and support!
