Sean and Nicole Glenn

are adopting a child from United States of America

We have BIG news!

We are adopting our sweet, William!

We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to finalize the adoption of our beautiful boy. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $15,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $3,400 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he grows up.

Our Story:

Nicole and I had tried conceiving for two years before being informed she had problems with infertility. As most people know, fertility treatments are costly. It was around the beginning of 2019 that my wife and I began looking into options and seeing doctors pertaining to her infertility issues. We began seeking advice through Nicole's OB-GYN who informed her we could initiate testing to see what our options could be.

In March 2019, we received a phone call from a relative who said they knew someone who was placing their child up for adoption. Nicole and I were both not sure this is something that would really happen. We didn't realize until a week past that the most wonderful blessing would be placed into our arms on March 14, 2019. William was born!

Nicole received the call that William's birth mother was in labor and we should go to the hospital. Nicole and I knew instaneously that this child was meant to be ours. William was placed into our home and hearts on 3/15/2019 with the blessing of his incredibly selfless mother who we will feel forever thankful for.

Our family consists of my wife, Nicole, my son, Trevor, Nicole's daughter, Lucy, our sons William, and Hudson! We found our two weeks after we brought Willy home that we were exactly 4 weeks pregnant with Hudson. We could not feel any more blended and blessed than we are now! We are excited to continue sharing our story!

    Long overdue Updates!

    June 12, 2023

Today, we had a phone meeting with our adoption attorney to discuss how would could continue to proceed with the adoption process and the timeline of the process at this time. We have consistently been trying to achieve finalizing the adoption, but we didn't expect things to get as hard as they did once COVID hit everyone including us, financially.
Most might not know, but we do not have a Social Security number for William or a Birth Certificate for him. He joined our family 4 years ago and without these VERY important documents, we cannot do a lot of things for him and his medical needs. Our Attorney is going to submit a request for the Birth Certificate that was "made" for Baby Boy "----." We have submitted all medical records from the hospital at time of birth that we received. We now just have to wait and see if we can get this document figured out.
For timeline on the adoption process, she feels we could get this settled before the end of the year. She has adjusted the original cost of the Adoption to help us offset some of the cost and that is now reflected in our goal for adopttogether. We need a home study to be completed still and will be reaching out to them to find out more information on the process.
We appreciate everyone who has helped us with our goals of adopting William, as well as any other help you've provided since he's join our family and blessed our life.
