We have some BIG news that we couldn’t be more excited and thankful to share with our family and friends.

We are on the journey to grow our family through adoption!!

We are beyond excited, doing all that we can to prepare to welcome a beautiful life into our home. We are currently finished with our homestudy, and if you are unfamiliar with the adoption process, this is the first big step to become approved to adopt. We are now actively working with Adoption Angels in Texas to become a waiting family for newborn adoption! We look forward to the day when we get to hold our future little one in our arms and create many future Goody family traditions and memories together.

As part of the adoption process, we have started a crowd funding campaign. It may surprise you to know that adoption costs can total up to $50,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $25,000 to help ease the finacial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. Any support big or small will truly mean the world to us, and if you are unable to donate, your continued support and prayers would be equally appreciated as we continue down this road to grow our family.

    Active Waiting Family!!

    April 7, 2025

    I wanted to take a moment to update all our family and friends who have supported us on the journey to grow our family through adoption. We are very excited to share that we are an active waiting family with Adoption Angels in Texas! We went live on my birthday, Jan 29th of this year and it was the best birthday gift I could have asked for. Now we ask for continued prayers and support as we enter this new phase of our adoption process and potentially the hardest, the wait. We know that at just the right time we will be promoted to mom and dad! Until then we remain excited and hopeful!
