It's with hearts full of excitement and anticipation we share with you that we're stepping out in faith, and taking the next steps in growing our family! Christmas day we submitted an application to a private adoption agency not expecting much, but to our surprise we were chosen as one of ten families invited to orientation to learn more about the adoption process. For years we've desired to grow our family through adoption, but were hesitant due to the financial costs. Through orientation we were enlightened and educated about the ways the funds of adoption are used to provide immense support to expectant moms not just through the matching process but post adoption as well. Part of this support includes counseling, transportation to and from medical appointments, paying for medical expenses, meeting physical needs, and helping care and support expectant moms with any need that arises and much more. In addition to the support provided for expectant moms, support is also provided to adoptive families through counseling both throughout the adoption process, and post adoption. We share all of this so you might understand as we've come to, that adoption is a ministry that changes lives. We're so excited to step in and be a part of it and we hope you'll join us in that. It's been a long winding journey for us to grow our family. We've had the privilege of our lives and great joy to love two sweet boys through foster care. We've experienced deep deep heartache through nearly a decade of infertility. Now we prepare our hearts with expectant hope for the little one who will join our family forever through adoption.
Thank you for being here, and journeying down this road with us. We will look to The Lord for each next step, and as always we will praise Him in the waiting.
Hi sweet friends!
Many of you have asked for an update regarding adoption progress so we wanted to check in! We’ve been doing the not so glamorous behind the scene things to get everything in order to start our home-study! As well as moving into a new home (because our rental lease was ending) and we need a long term address for our home study! I had surgery to remove an avocado sized cyst from my ovary, as well as my left fallopian tube 😕. We’ve been grieving Gabey and missing him so much as the summer marked the year anniversary of us saying goodbye to him. Aaron’s traveled a ton this summer for a mission trip and camp! And this week I started a new job as an elementary librarian!! 😊
So that’s the update! Nothing flashy just yet, but we’re working slow and steady towards starting our home-study!
We love you all and are so incredibly thankful for your support as we grow our family. ❤️
Hi Sweet Friends!
I wanted to thank you all for your support of our family & adoption! We are completely blown away by the way you've all shown up for us, and we couldn't be more grateful. Tears filled our eyes with every notification of support. We never imagined our road to our forever family would be such a long winding one, and we truly appreciate those of you who have walked alongside us these many many years. We've completed our first round of paperwork and are working through the second! Our hearts dream of the day our home is full of little pitter patters of feet once again. We're planning a comedy night with Jarron Myers in April, and were so excited for it! We'll share more information about that soon.
Thanks again for your support of our family. It truly means so so much to us.
All our love,
The Gregorys.
P.S. I tried to thank of you each directly on here, but it kept giving an error code and wouldn't allow me to do such.
