WE ARE ADOPTING! ✨

This decision took a whole lot of time and a whole lot of Jesus. After two years of infertility, two babies in Heaven, and a miracle rainbow baby, we are so confident that God is calling us to adopt. We believe we have a call on our life like James 1:27 states, “to look after the orphans and widows in their distress.” Adoption is something that is special to us and we feel so honored to be walking in God’s will for our life, and for our baby’s life, and feel blessed to be trusted with this. We are hopeful and excited to see God’s story of redemption unfold as we embark on this journey to bring Baby Hall home!

We’re officially home study approved and now an active, waiting family! If you’re not familiar, here’s a little breakdown of what this means:

Being home study approved means that through paperwork, background clearances, interviews, and a home visit, the state of Texas has decided we have a stable and suitable environment to be adoptive parents.

As an active, waiting family, we are now in the “matching phase” which means that we are actively seeing and presenting on cases we receive from our consultant. If a mama sees our profile book and chooses us, that would mean we’re matched (yay!).

Domestic Infant Adoption can cost anywhere from $40,000-$60,000 to cover necessary and important things such as consultant/agency fees, home study expenses, legal fees, birth mama expenses, and more. We are setting our overall goal at $50,000 to help ease the expenses of bringing Baby Hall home. It seems like a gigantic, nearly impossible goal but we know that God is our great Provider and is fully capable of providing the funds needed.

We have a few requests from YOU, our village, whom we couldn’t do this without!

1. Would you pray with us? Pray that God would give us strength for whatever comes our way while we wait to bring Baby Hall home. Pray for the mama that will make the impossible decision in placing her baby for adoption and choosing us to be the parents of her baby. Pray that both mama + baby are safe, healthy, and in the best of care. Pray that the necessary funds would be provided. Pray that God’s goodness and faithfulness would be revealed through each step of the process and that God gets all the glory.
