We have BIG news: we are adopting…again!

Adoption has always been a part of our “plan” for building a family. As we both know family and friends who have been adopted, we grew up particularly knowing we wanted to be a part of someone’s adoption story. This desire to adopt was strengthened when we joined a local church where many families were connected to adoption in various ways. While no two adoption stories are the same, we were encouraged to see all the beautiful ways God has worked in the lives of everyone involved. We have been engaged in work with kids of all ages and feel like we are second and third parents to many children. We are ready to give unconditional love to a child and expand our family through the miracle of adoption!

We were so blessed to get the call in September of 2023 that there was a little boy who needed a home, and we got to be his parents! We brought 3-month-old Ezra home on September 15th, 2023.

Fast forward one year, and we got another call…we have the opportunity to adopt Ezra’s sibling, due in March 2025! We were ecstatic at the opportunity for Ezra and his younger sibling to grow up together and to be parents again.

As a part of this process, we have started this crowdfunding campaign. It surprises many that the adoption process can cost upwards of $60k, which is why we have set our goal to this to help offset the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
