Hey everyone! We are so excited to share that our family is in the adoption process AGAIN!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. Xander and Eloise might be the MOST excited. We want to invite you to be a part of this journey with us!
First, we'd like to ask you to pray- it is by far the most important way that you can support our adoption process! Please pray for us as we wait for the child who we feel the Lord has chosen to be a part of our family. Pray that we would wait well, alongside Xander and Eloise, and that this process would increase our dependence on the Lord. Pray for the expectant mother (whoever she is) who is facing a difficult situation. Pray that she has the courage to choose life and that she has a support system to care for her as she navigates tough decisions about the future of her child. Pray that we love her well because God first loved us. Pray for the child who God has already chosen to be a part of our family. Pray for his or her health and safety.
We have already been fundraising since the fall of 2022 through initiatives connected with Katy's new small business, The Little Things Party Planning (@thelittlethings_party). We have been very encouraged by the support we have received in selling sensory activities and fun festive things for your little ones. All proceeds from those fundraisers go straight toward funding this adoption. The extreme generosity of so many friends, family members, and God-ordained connections has been really powerful to experience. We were connected with a local business in Raleigh that blew us away with their generosity in support of our family. In addition, as part of our adoption process, we have started this crowdfunding campaign. Through the adoption agency that we have chosen, it will cost around 32,000 dollars or more to adopt a child. If you feel led, we would love for you to partner with us financially. We have set a goal of $20,000 dollars to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
