Hello Friends,

We have some pretty huge news - We are going to be adopting and welcoming a new child into our family!

This is something we have talked and prayed about together for a long while, and really feel God’s calling on our lives to pursue adoption. We are beyond excited to move forward together as a family; we have kept our son involved in all the conversations along the way, and he is fully on board with us on this journey.

We have partnered with Mustard Seed Adoption Consultants -
An adoption consulting firm, that works with highly ethical adoption agencies all across the US and works closely with us to help the adoption process go as smoothly as possible.

We are truly blessed with an incredible community of family and friends at school, church, and work. And we are grateful for the prayers, encouragement, and support. As many of you may already be aware, private adoption is costly, typically $35,000 at a minimum but can easily reach $50k or $60k in total. We will be covering these costs from personal savings, and through the loving support of friends, family, & colleagues who choose to bless us through donating to our crowdfund.

- Current Status -

We are now an “Active” family with Mustard Seed, meaning we are ready to potentially be matched with any birth momma’s that come through our Consultant’s partnering agencies.

- If you Choose to Donate -

All donations here are tax-deductible and Adopt Together disperses them to us through the form of grants. So each time we have an adoption related cost, we can submit the appropriate paperwork to them as proof and apply for the funds to be distributed for that particular expense.

    April 2026 - Presenting

    March 31, 2026

    Hi all,
    Just want to reiterate again HOW thankful we are for the support you have given and love you've shown to our family.
    This has been a much slower process than we ever envisioned it would be, but it has certainly taught us patience!

    We have a new birth mom case here in Arizona that our adoption attorney will be presenting our profile book to; hopefully within the next week. So we are hopeful and praying for this birth mom and her upcoming decision on choosing a family for her baby boy due in May.

    Presenting

    October 28, 2025

    Hello Friends!

    I apologize for the lack of updates for so long. It has been a very quiet and quite discouraging number of months of not seeing any cases for us.
    We have reached out to other adoption agencies (in addition to Mustard Seed) and one of those has a potential match for us that we are learning more about this week, and will hopefully be able to present our profile to the birth mom soon!

    Prayers are much appreciated as we continue to follow up on this potential match.

    First Time Presenting

    April 30, 2025

    Sorry it's been radio silence on the updates for a while!
    We have been waiting on cases from our consultants that could be a good fit for us.

    We just had our first case that we were able to present to this week. Our hand written letter and adoption profile book will each be shown to the birth mother, this afternoon most likely, along with any other adoptive families presenting on this case.

    Even if we're not ultimately the ones chosen for this particular case, just praying for peace and wisdom for the birth mother in this situation, as I can't even imagine how difficult making a decision like that must be.

    Since presenting doesn't automatically equal "being matched", I probably won't do updates for every time we "present", but since there had been no updates is so long wanted to share a little about the process and that we have now done our first presentation.
