A dream come true to finally be on the path to our next son or daughter! Through loss, dreaming, and opening our eyes to the orphan crisis God has led us to adopt from the country of Liberia, West Africa.
Our mantra for our adoption is “UBUNTU” a term widely known through out the region of Africa meaning “I am because WE are.” We believe that it’s mandated in the Bible to care for orphans and while we feel the call to open our home, hearts, and family to a child we know that adoption takes a village. As a family we are doing everything we can to fund our adoption but we still know that we can’t do it alone.
Due to the substantial cost of adoption we are starting a crowdfunding campaign as our first fundraiser. Our adoption will cost anywhere from $40,000-$65,000 depending on if we get matched with one or two children. We know it sounds crazy and, to us, it almost seems impossible. But gospel love is radical and we’ll do whatever it takes for the sake of our child across the world.

—-Our Story—-
If you know us then you’ve seen us navigate the hard and grief filled road of pregnancy loss. Our Judah has an angel twin and 3 more younger siblings in Heaven. But if you know us then you also know Adoption has always been Plan A. God has been preparing us and breaking our hearts for the most vulnerable for a long time. Once we realized another pregnancy might not be possible for us without interventions we felt a nudge and a personal conviction- why are we trying so hard to create life when there is already life out there WAITING for a family? Waiting for everything we have to offer. After that, there was no question- our next child will come through adoption. A miracle just the same!
So why Liberia?🇱🇷 In Drew’s words “an orphan is an orphan no matter where they live.” We believe that every child is equally deserving of a family. When we decided that adoption was the call on our family we started the researching phase on agencies, countries, foster care, domestic and international adoptions. When we discovered Liberia it stuck with us. Like it was the missing member to our family. Liberia has no foster care system, is the 7th poorest country in the world, and is the size of Tennessee with 120,000 orphaned children. Once your eyes are opened, you can’t look away. Our eyes have been opened. Our child, along with a hundred million more children, is out there waiting for family, and we just can’t get to them fast enough❤️ But we ARE coming for you little one!
