We have big news! We are adopting! We are doing everything in our power to make sure our family and Home are ready to bring home‘s beautiful new life! The process can be long and expensive so let us introduce ourselves to you. Welcome to our story so far….
My husband Jonathan, our son Gracen and myself have been working with a private foster agency for four years now to try to adopt. We were hopeful about growing our family through that agency but unfortunately with many failed attempts and the last one, a sibling group of four, and having them leave us was devastating to our whole family. A pain we can barely describe,such heartbreak. It’s been a long battle to try to expand our family. Jonathan and I sat awake many nights questioning what our future would look like now. Would we continue with foster care or try another route? When you are unable to naturally grow your own family and you have to rely on others, it can be very emotional, very painful.
The Weight and pressure of not feeling like you are enough to provide that for your family, like so many others, hurts more than you could imagine. So, We allowed our hearts to heal as much as they could and realized we needed to move forward. We know our family is meant to grow. We know God has so much more in store for us!
We know our son is meant to be a big brother.
We also know that for now, the best choice is going with an amazing adoption agency!
So, with the help of this adoption agency they will match us with the right child OR maybe even children! We travel to meet them and then we go from there!
My family and I are asking for your help, there is no help too little. Everything matters , every little bit helps!
