Hello Friends!
As most of you know, we are in the process of adopting the little girl we hosted over the Summer. It was so much fun to see this shy girl from a small town in her country, slowly open up and experience things she has never had the chance to do before. From the little things like painting her nails, riding a bike and playing at a water park, to trips to the lake, zoo and other fun adventures. After spending just five short weeks with her, we decided she belonged with us.
Shortly after having to say our goodbyes at the airport, we began the adoption process to bring her back home. We submitted our Letter of Intent (LOI) to let her country know we were pursuing adoption. After tirelessly working through the mountain of paperwork, we recently finished it all and we are now waiting on our home study to complete so we can take the next step in the journey.
Along with the joy of adoption, also comes the cost. Our estimated adoption journey is expected to cost somewhere between $40,000 - $50,000. While this number sounds big, we server a bigger God, and know that he will provide.
