We have BIG news! We are adopting a child! We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of [$10,000] to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as partof the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up!!!
We have made a connection with a sweet little girl! She’s been living with us for over a month now and we are absolutely in love! Pray with us that the mother will give us permanent parental rights, currently we are legal guardians which protects us and allows us to take the child out of state! A momentary adoption but not permanent??? Not sure how to explain the situation!
We have created a savings account for the adoption purposes and currently have around $4,000 in there!! Thank you again for the support and kindness
We’ve received a call from a anonymous mother asking that we adopt her baby… she just found out she’s pregnant and knows we’ve been looking into adoption, and as she’s a single young lady she doesn’t want her baby… she asks that we help cover costs of pregnancy appointments and birth which will ultimately cost around $12,000 and since we have some money raised already .. it feels like a much closer goal!!!!
