  You have FULLY FUNDED the Huff’s adoption!!

  “All things come of thee, O Lord, and of thine own, have we given thee.” – 1 Corinthians 29:14

  It is with great rejoicing and gratitude that we announce: OUR ADOPTION IS FULLY FUNDED!

  We are simply blown away by the outpouring response from our family, friends, churches, and anonymous donors. It has been unbelievable; it has dramatically increased our faith and assurance in the passionate calling to adopt that God has put on our hearts.

  We publicly announced that we were hoping to adopt not very long ago—September, 2024 to be exact. It was a social media post (just one!) and then verbally telling friends and family to spread the word. Then God did something incredible. He used you and all that supported to raise the full amount needed to a adopt a child domestically. We did so little, and yet He did so much.
  . . .
  On the paperwork front, it has been a wild ride… We have been working to complete all things required in order to legally be ready to adopt, including:

  - Examination of our financial and insurance situation,
  - Home study, including home inspection and personal questions regarding family history
  - Health history and health records
  - FBI fingerprints and local criminal background checks
  - marriage and family Mental/spiritual/relational assessments
  - Personal 14 page written biographies for both Will and Emily
  - A 22 page “family profile” to be shown to expectant mothers choosing life and prayerfully considering who to trust to raise their child.

  The other good news is that it’s all done! As of January 31st, 2025, we were officially HOME-STUDY APPROVED. Which means we can legally adopt a child domestically within the next 18 months.

  Yes, 18 months.

  We do not know what God’s timing will be on this adoption. It could be within weeks or it could be over a year and a half.
  What we do know is that we are waiting, and waiting with hope and full expectation that God is prepared to grow our family and is preparing us all now.

  And that’s the “yes and amen.” We are fully funded, have received the full blessing of the judicial apparatus and the adoption agency (as well as you all!), and now … we wait. Wait expectantly that God will continue to show up in ways that we can hardly imagine or plan for, but as always … “for the good of those who love Him.”

  I know of no other more appropriate way to end this post than with a full and joyful song of praise for the wonderful things God has done and is doing.
