We are wanting to adopt to start our family. Having a family is the #1 priority in our lives. We have had our struggles to have children of our own, so we have decided to go the route of adoption. Having Spina Bifida (Alex) and it being a high risk to have a child, we have decided that adoption would be a wonderful option for us. We know that blood doesn't make you love someone. We have numerous nieces and nephews but the one thing missing is having ones of our own to love. We have 1 nephew from marriage and we love him like he was our own. We are both very loving and caring people and would show our kids unconditional support throughout their entire lives.
As you know, the cost of adoption is very expensive. We do not want that to prevent us from starting our own family. Receiving funds from the Generous donors would mean the world to us. We will exhaust every option we have to help us achieve this goal of ours, and your support will help us with that. It will help give us the opportunity to provide a home, love, and support from a set of parents that will instill a positive wellbeing that will help them grow and use in their life even after leaving the home as adults. We want to make sure our kids leave the house ready for the real world and know that we have raised them to be strong, independent leaders that live a good faithful life.
We are both Christians and will raise our kids in the faith to believe. We believe that if you have faith then that will help with most problems you deal with in life and will guide your way out of trouble. We both grew up in the Youth Group as kids and that was the best part of our childhood. Knowing that the friends you have surrounded yourself with have the same goals in life and want to be on the straight and narrow path will help keep you out of trouble and straying. That is what we want to have for our children. We have a family circle of Christians, so they would be surrounded by the support and love everywhere they go.
