The hearts of both Josh and myself are beyond full while writing this personal announcement. After much consideration into several options available to grow our small family, we have decided on a very specific path with a very specific endgoal… are hearts are aligned with that of a 5 year old girl who is very much in need of a family, a home, and adequate medical resources. Her difficult journey thus far is not our story to tell but please know this will be life changing for us and her alike.
We are working exclusively with Hague-accredited agencies whom are held to the highest standard of adoption ethics internationally.
The process to bring our little girl home will likely cost approximately $35,000. We are pursuing several grant options and are hopeful for that support. However, several fees are required before the point of grant eligibility is reached and her current situation decreases in faverability by the day so we feel strongly that swift fundraising is needed to get her home safely.
While we would have preferred to keep the administrative and financial aspects of family building more private, we will be in a much better position to care for our little one with your help.
Her 6th birthday is in March 2023. Let's get her home. Thank you so much for being a part of our village.
