I'm Kyana Johnson. I'm 31 years of age. I'm a writer, a substitute teacher, and a survivor. I primarily work with the youth, even through self-employment, in tutoring elementary-aged children. I've always wanted to be a mother, whether biologically or through other means. Biologically became a solid no after my battle with cervical cancer. After five years of being cancer-free, grieving, and healing, I've started this journey of adoption. I've talked with an agency, and we're in the beginning stages of getting things together; however, to ensure I can match, I need to have part or most of the funds. Many may know adoption costs are high. I am willing to make sacrifices, such as getting another job. I'm also looking into other fundraising avenues while engaging in a 52-week savings plan.
