We have exciting news!

We are hoping to grow our family again through adoption!

We are very excited to be on this beautiful journey again to build our family. Bringing home our daughter has been the greatest gift we could ever asked for and we did it with the village that surrounds us everyday.

Although this is not our comfort zone, as part of the adoption process we have started a crowdfunding campaign. Many don’t know but adoption related costs can easily be $45,000 or more. These costs include agency fees, homestudy fees, legal, medical, and post placement fees that can often overwhelm adoptive parents.

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the village we hope to build around our future child as we have with our daughter. It does truly take a village!

  • Update 1

    In paperwork stage

    February 22, 2025

    Not a glamorous update, but wanted to give one anyway! We are still in the paperwork stage. What this means is there are applications to finish, background checks to go through and getting all the required supporting documents to our homestudy agents. It all takes time, for everything needs great attention to detail.

    You cannot forward to the next step until the one before is finished and approved. Once we are placed with a social worker...which can take 8 to 10 weeks, we can start the home study process. The home study process itself can take 3 to 4 months! They say it's a hurry up and wait timeline, but always so worth it!

    As we keep pushing forward we are also working on our family profile, which is always a good time!
