Andrew and Anna Johnson

Last year, our friends and family celebrated and cheered us on as we felt the LORD calling us to pursue adoption. When that journey came to a sudden end, we were broken, but trusted that God’s plans are greater than our own, even though we truly had no idea why the Lord had asked us to walk through such a hard season. For 6 months, we felt the ache of loss while doing our best to trust that the Lord knows what is best for our little family. And then… on a random Tuesday in May, the Lord asked us to trust Him again.
I received a call about a sweet baby boy a few states away being placed for adoption. So, we said yes again and this time, in God’s perfect timing, we brought home our baby boy a week later. I could go on and on about about all the little details God orchestrated to bring us this far. Some details we will be able to share in time and others we will allow him to share as a part of his story, but for now, we are loving this little one and thanking God for such a precious gift. 💙
