Hi there! We are the Jones family and we are so excited to share that we are adopting! This has been a dream of ours since Alan and I were dating and we’re thrilled to be adding to our family through adoption.
Alan and I have been married for twelve years and we have a daughter named Riley Kate who is about to turn six. We have a lot of fun in our family and enjoy traveling, movies nights, anything outdoors, serving together, and spending time with family and friends. We are actively involved in our church where Lauren works part time in the preschool ministry as well as serving as the special needs ministry coordinator. Alan serves in kindergarten and loves investing in his students each week. Together, we serve in our infertility and family advocacy ministries.
Our favorite family traditions include attending Baylor football games in the Fall, fancy Valentines dinner at home complete with a dance party, a trip to the beach each year, delivering homemade cinnamon rolls to our friends and family each Christmas, and family movie nights.
Our road to expanding our family has been long and painful at times, but we are confident in the call he has placed on our lives to pursue domestic, infant adoption. Through the support of our family, friends, and church we are working towards our goal of raising $20,000 that will go towards our placement fees after we are matched.
We are so grateful for the love and support we have received and thank God for all the people that will help make this adoption possible whether it’s prayer, financial support, or help in preparing for a new baby.
