We are so exicted to announce that we have started down the path and journey to adopt a baby! Zach and I have been togehter for 15 years and have struggled with infertility since we were married in 2018. After the loss of our son in October of 2023, we were devastated and not really sure what the next step would be. We have prayed to have a child of our own and feel that God is leading us to adoption as the path we need to be on. The IVF process for the 5 years from 2018-2023 was financially and emotionally draining on both of us. Although we had family loan us some of the money, the rest was all out of pocket as Colorado and our insurance company did not cover any IVF related expenses. When we lost our son in 2023, he was the last embryo we had left. Many of you that know us, know that we want nothing more than to be parents. We are both only children and having a famliy of our own will be a dream come true.
We are turning to crowdfunding for support because, while our hearts are fully invested in adopting, the financial reality has made it challenging to move forward on our own. The costs associated with adoption, such as legal fees, agency fees, and travel expenses, are substantial, and despite careful planning and saving, we’ve realized that we don’t have the funds needed to complete the process. Crowdfunding offers us a way to make our dream of expanding our family a reality, and we are deeply grateful for any help in bringing us closer to welcoming this miracle child into our home.
1 Samuel 1:27 says, “I prayed for this child and the Lord granted what I asked of Him.”
