Dylan and Mazy Kerling

Thank you for checking out our adoption fundraiser. We have just passed a major application phase with our agency and are now on the waiting list for 8-10 weeks (as of April 2026) to be paired with our adoption worker! This is the point at which we begin our Home Study, where we have to pay a large sum up front and after the study is completed. Only after we complete the Home Study will we qualify for grants; this is common in the adoption process. The fees due are as follows:

$3200 at the beginning of the Home Study $2750 after completion of the Home Study

Together this totals $5950, so we rounded up to a nice even number of $6000. All donated funds will go directly to our adoption fees first, then baby/child basic necessities if we continue to get funds later.

• About Mazy And Dylan *

Both of us live on our feet with multiple active hobbies. Dylan started mixed martial arts training about a year ago and works out regularly. We play tennis together, sometimes with friends. Mazy loves biking, often for transportation. We love to explore the cities on foot or train, be it by the river in nature or a fun urban area to see events and explore shops.

Mazy is a long-time composer and musician, having taught music lessons in the past. She spent 10 years doing youth crisis intervention and mentorship focused on creative economic empowerment and trauma healing. She recently retrained to be a massage therapist. Her previous background has helped develop a philosophy of a creative, immersive real-world-education for children.

Dylan is a computer engineer and fitness enthusiast. He loves walking, especially around lakes and by the rivers. He is well-read and self-taught in a variety of topics across history, cultures, religion, and more to create a unique big-picture worldview. This inspires and gives him direction for our kids’ education.

Together we are creative, strategic and frugal. We are excited to create adventures and foster our kids’ curiosity, play and love of life. We are community-oriented and look forward to growing our village to raise the kids.
