We have some exciting, BIG news! We are adopting!

Through lots of prayers and processing this year, God has opened the door for us to pursue adoption! Adoption has been on our hearts throughout our marriage… and after 5 years of infertility and a miscarriage in January, we sensed God moving us toward adoption. After we received Mac’s official diagnosis in February, resulting in an inability to carry children, we felt complete peace that now was the time. We truly wouldn’t trade all that the Lord has taught us in this season, as there has been so much beauty in it! After all - through Christ’s sacrifice, we all have been adopted into His Kingdom… What a beautiful example we now get to live out by growing our family through adoption. We’ve been absolutely blown away how God has already showed up in ways that we least expected!

We are over the moon excited for our little babe to join our family, and are doing everything we need to do to prepare. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign with AdoptTogether, a non-profit 501c3 (which means all donations are tax deductible), that specializes in helping families raise money for adoption fees. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs are expected to be between $50-60k! This cost covers things like the home study, agency fees, paperwork, legal fees, care for birth mom, social work fees, etc. After our own contributions, and a few incredibly generous gifts, we have set our goal for the remaining amount. Every cent given will go towards our adoption, as AdoptTogether only reimburses adoption related expenses.

We know SO many prayers from so many people have gotten us to where we are in our journey to building a family. We truly have felt every single one! And to honor everyone who is financially giving to our adoption, we’re putting each person’s name on a puzzle piece in our babe’s room. It’s a special way of remembering those who gave, in a room that we’ll be spending so much time in!

PLEASE NOTE the donation platform has a number of options if you give. If you choose to “donate anonymously,” we will not be able to see your name either. Which is totally fine if that is your desire! However, if you are comfortable with us seeing your name, and you’d prefer to keep the amount private from the public, please choose “do not disclose amount publicly” rather than donating anonymously. You can also donate anonymously & message us separately to let us know! We want to thank our people properly and get your name on our sweet babe’s adoption puzzle. We love you all SO very much!!!!!

    He's Here!

    After a long wait, he's here! God has brought this little boy into our life, and we couldn't be happier! Birth mom & baby are so healthy. We had a special time with her family before placement. Please keep praying for her and her family!

    Another Answered Prayer!

    Hi all,

    As you all have been praying for us we wanted to give an update! Many saw our post on social media about the failed adoption the night before we were going to fly out. That birth mom wasn’t telling the truth and unfortunately never had an intention of placing with us. Of course it was confusing, infuriating and heartbreaking. Since then we have been back in the matching phase, waiting to be chosen. We presented to other birth moms since then, but we were not chosen. Then we heard about a case where we felt immense peace. We talked to the birth mom 4 different times as she narrowed down her choices.

    We are thrilled to report that she chose us! We couldn’t be more excited to welcome a baby boy into our family in just 2 months! Thank you so much for your support and continued prayer. God has provided in incredible ways, even since the initial failed adoption, and He is just so good! Can’t wait for you to meet our son soon 🙌🏼 Please pray for the heath of the birth mom and baby boy and that there is confidence in the adoption plan moving forward. Praise the Lord!

    Hey all, we are a little over a month away from welcoming our baby girl into our family. Would you join us in praying for the following:

    - Pray for birth mom to have a healthy delivery and a quick recovery.
    - Pray that birth mom would feel deeply loved and confident in this adoption process.
    - Pray that baby girl is healthy and there are no complications.
    - Pray against hang ups/paperwork challenges or unforeseen circumstances.
    - Pray for safe travels for us and birth mom to the hospital and home.

    God Has Answered Our Prayers!

    March 7, 2025

    Today is a day of rejoicing! The Lord has done what He does and has provided in a way only he can. Mac and I were chosen by a birth mom, and we have a baby GIRL due in July. The Lord has been in EVERY detail! The exclamation point God gave to this story is one that still doesn’t feel real, but this is exactly what we prayed for, and God answered it without sparing one detail! Thank you all so much for your prayers, your financial support and standing with us through the hard times of this journey. God is SO good!

    Active & Waiting!

    November 23, 2024

    We wanted to update everyone! Our home study has been approved (Praise God!) and our applications to the different agencies that serve birth moms have been successfully sent in. Now we are in the waiting phase! It could literally be later today we receive a call, or several months from now, but we are trusting God's timing. He has got us this far and it's so evident this is what we are supposed to do. We thank you so much for your prayers and can't wait for you all to meet our new baby! <3 We will update if there is news, for now we will continue to pray, wait and trust the Lord.
