Our journey to biological parenthood has changed course. Due to unforseen medical circumstances, we are now adopting.

We are beyond excited to welcome a new life into our loving home!

It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related costs can easily total up to $55,000 or more. As part of the adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign to help ease the financial burden that overwhelms adoptive parents.

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.

    June 1, 2026

    We have completed Part 1 and Part 2 of the Home Study paperwork. It was tedious!!! We had to get notes from our doctors, fingerprinted, references, sign paperwork, copies of birth and marriage certificate, do online training, get CPR certified, and answer LOTS of questions about ourselves. We are now up to Part 3 which will be getting a visit to the house as well as getting our adoption profile set up. We are almost there!

    We just wanted to thank you for your continued support! The next payment will be due after this, and your generosity is helping us get closer to our dream of raising a child. We love you!

    Today we had our Orientation. We learned a lot of information about the rest of this long process. Our next steps are to complete more paperwork before starting our homestudy.

    We are so ready for this next chapter of our lives and can't wait to share the love we have with an earthside baby!
