We’re ADOPTING!
We are so excited to publicly share that we are in the process of adopting! It has already been such an exciting roller coaster and we have been blown away as we have seen God’s hand in this process. We have always felt called to adoption and we are so thankful that the Lord has prepared our hearts for such a time as this - we are so honored that we get to grow our family through adoption.
We are home study approved and are actively waiting to be matched. There is no way to anticipate a time frame for this season, but our hope and prayer is that we are matched sooner rather than later. Adoption is a rigorous journey, both emotionally and financially, so if it’s laid upon your heart to link arms alongside us on this new adventure, here are a few ways you can help:
1) Prayer - we desperately need your prayers. Prayers for the birth parents and their hearts, prayers for our baby, and prayers for our family and our hearts. Please be praying that we will trust His timing, not our own. Pray for us to have wisdom, strength, courage, and joy. Thank you for lifting our family to the Lord!
2) Giving financially - adoption fees are very big but we know our God is bigger! We firmly believe and have peace that God is calling us to move forward with adoption amidst this current season as Justin is a full-time student and we currently do not have a consistent income. As difficult as it is to be vulnerable and put ourselves out here in this way, we know we have to do so and we need your help! We completely understand if you do not feel led or are unable to give; however, we do know that there are those who love to bless others financially through adoption. So, for those of you who may feel led to give, we have partnered with the non-profit organization, AdoptTogether. If this is you, thank you!
