  Baby Boy is Here!

  May 26, 2026

  Hi all! While some of you know this, some do not as we have been slow to share the great news as we have soaked up the last weeks.

  A sweet baby boy was born on Mothers Day - our little love, Nolan. We are elated and settling into rhythms as a family of four. The process moved quickly at the end once we received our phone call that we had been chosen by our son's birth parents just about a week and a half before birth. Some of you have met him, and for those of you who have not, we cannot wait for you to meet him. He is a tiny little guy with just the sweetest disposition.

  We are forever grateful for his birth-parents, who have given us the gift of growing our family and who have trusted us with a piece of their heart. They love Nolan deeply and we are so thankful to share an open adoption with them. We consider this one of the most sacred acts of love by a parent - choosing what they believe is best for their child because they love them so deeply.

  We are so wildly grateful to each of you, who so generously partnered alongside of us financially and in prayer and waiting. We could not have done this without you, your heart, and your generosity. We love each of you deeply - those whose names we can see on the donation and those of you who chose to remain anonymous and who we may never know your name. We are grateful for each of you in ways we cannot describe.

  Small Update - 3 Months into our Wait!

  September 17, 2025

  Good morning all!

  Adopt Together asks us to send updates and I thought I would send out something small, but mainly want to say thank you to this group.

  We have monthly phone calls with our coordinator at our agency to check-in and make sure everyone is on the same page. We had that call this morning and while there are no new updates they told us our profile is going out frequently, and just yesterday went out to a birth-mom looking for families wanting to adopt in NC. It is always a blessing to hear that we are being shown. The Lord's timing!

  With the change in season and entering into Fall we are feeling so refreshed and ready to see what the Lord has in store. We are so expectant and excited and know that the Lord's timing is perfect.

  Thank you again for being in prayer with us - over the health of our future baby, over our birth-mom who is out there somewhere and her heart, and over our family as we continue to prepare for what the Lord has in store for us.

  I need to look at actual numbers, but we have raised (I believe) roughly $24,000 of the $40,000 we are hoping to raise - to God be the glory! We are still praying that grants come in at different times, and we know the Lord will provide all we need. Thank you for being such a huge part of this with us and for supporting us in donations and prayer. It means SO much to us.

  We love you all - we pray that the Lord blesses you and refreshes you in this change of season as well!

  Fun Update!

  June 19, 2025

  Hey everyone! We hope this finds you well. You have been instrumental in supporting us and we want to be diligent in including you in what is happening in our adoption journey! As of today we are a LIVE and waiting family - PRAISE GOD! Our profile and video are officially available to be viewed by birth mothers on our adoption agencies website. We are overjoyed!

  Thank you so much for the ways you have already supported our family. In this season we would love for you to join us in prayer over our future birth mother and baby - their safety, health, and true peace and wisdom and comfort over our birth mother as she prepares to make one of the hardest decisions of her life. We ask that she is the first person you pray for when you think of our adoption. We also ask that you pray over our family - for patience in the wait, for the Lord to prepare our hearts, for Asher to grow in his understanding of bringing home a sibling through adoption, and just for the protection of our hearts as we step into an unknown path.

  We love you and are deeply humbled by your choice to support us! God is so good ALL of the time!
