As many of you know, we are excited to share that we are in the process of adopting an infant! Currently, we are in the ‘Home Study’ Phase of a domestic infant adoption with the adoption agency Spence-Chapin. This entails copious amounts of paperwork, background checks, records sharing, interviews and will ultimately culminate in a visit to our home by a social worker from Spence-Chapin on January 8. Once we are approved by the agency, we will officially begin the process of waiting to match with a birth parent, also known as: Phase 1. During this phase we will create a family profile and prepare for the exciting potential of matching with a birth parent / infant. Once we are successfully matched, Phase 2 begins - the placement of the child in our home and finalization of the adoption process.

We are reaching out to you - our community of amazing people - because it would be a tremendous help to have your financial support during this process. We are blessed to be in a position where the initial upfront costs don’t seem impossible to reach. But, at the same time, Phase 1 + 2 combined are a staggering amount. Your help would allow us to reach our goal much faster and without incurring debt.

Phase 2 $30,000 ⭕ $7,875 Raised | $22,125 Needed ⭕ Needs to be raised in the next 2-3 years, includes legal fees to finalize the adoption.
