We have BIG News!
We are currently in the process of adopting a child from Puerto Rico. We are waiting to be matched with a 0-4 child .Our kids are very excited about gaining a new sibling. Once we have officially adopted our child we will have spend over $30,000. No donation amount is too small.
We both want to adopt a child because we feel that God has called us to adopt. That it is something that we are meant to do. Throughout scripture God tells us to take care of his children and that is what we want to do. We want to ease the suffering of an innocent child in need and give them a loving home and help birthmothers realize that choosing adoption is a courageous act. Matthew 25:35-36 has really stuck with me. For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.
The Lord has really shown us in this season that he is faithful. We are in an unknown season for our family while we are going through the adoption process, but we can trust that he is in control and will work out every situation for our good. As we begin this new year we are truly blessed that the Lord has provided us with 4 children and now this opportunity to adopt a child.
