Steve & Teresa Lipinski
are adopting a child from United States of America
The idea of adoption came very early in our relationship. Teresa was diagnosed with endometriosis just a few months into dating. She was so relieved when Steve’s response to her telling him that the doctors told her that having kids was a slim chance was, “That’s ok. My sister is adopted. We can just adopt.” That simple sentence was the start of our adoption journey–listening to adoption stories from friends and learning from Steve’s adopted sister what a gift adoption is—to an adoptive family, birth family, and child.
We have been listed and waiting to adopt in Minnesota for about 3.5 years with no movement so have listed with multiple Florida agencies. Although adopting from Florida is considerably more expensive our hope has been renewed as we embark on this adoption journey to welcome an infant into our home.
Adopting from another state incurs many expenses–not only agency fees, but living expenses to support the birthmother during her pregnancy. In addition, there are many travel costs. We hope to eventually adopt three children and this would be our first adoption.
Please consider supporting us as we hope to grow our family. Our goal is to raise 2/3 of the adoption costs: $45,000. Thank you for your prayers and support.
