Dear family and friends (and maybe kindhearted strangers), we have been on a journey working towards an adoption for the past few years, and we have been matched with a child who will be born soon. We believe we will be able to provide this child with a safe, loving, and joyful home. As part of that, we have decided to ask for a little help from friends and family.

We ask especially for your prayers during this time of hopeful, but stressful waiting. If you would like to help support this endeavor in whatever way you are able, any small gift would be appreciated.

As you may be aware, an adoption is a rather large expense even if it doesn’t go through. We have managed to cover the upfront costs of the adoption, but our savings have dwindled, and there are still many expenses to come, including repayment of our adoption loan. Neither of us will receive paid parental leave, presenting an additional challenge. Those of you who are close to us know we do not like asking for money, but a any financial assistance would be welcome.

Thank you for whatever help you can offer out of love and friendship, whether that be a few dollars, a heartfelt prayer, or a simple word of encouragement. We hope to be able to share some good news with you all soon!
