“We are asking God to fulfill our greatest wish," Alejandro and Paula wrote to us, "which is to go with you.” When I visited Casa de Amor Children’s Home in 2019, Alejandro and Paula lovingly wrapped themselves around my heart. This precious brother and sister, age 15 and 14, have spent most of their lives in the 'House of Love.' Even with the tender care they have received for these past 8 years, their hearts still long for a family.
Our six adult children, both biological and adopted, are ready to join us in helping guide these two through the remainder of their teenage years and into successful adulthood. With the help of organizations like yours, we can reach our fundraising goal of $30,000. (The total adoption will be $47,000.)
Alejandro and Paula pray every night for this dream to come true. I have visited them three times over the past years, and they are asking when I am coming again. (They don’t know it yet, but I will be there on March 16th!) Our bond is strong. Paula recently said, “I love her like she was my Mom. Really. Like she was my Mom.” And I am. We are their parents and will be so honored to finally bring them home!
