We have some life changing news to share friends; Michael and I are adopting a baby! Since April, we have been busy preparing our home and our hearts for this new little life that will bless our family. Since we have now completed our Home Study, the next step in the adoption process is for us to start a crowdfunding campaign. You may be surprised to learn that adoption-related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $15,000 to help ease the financial aspect that sometimes overwhelms adoptive parents. We pray that by inviting you into our adoption journey, you will see yourself as part of our family. We hope that we can continue to support each other in all of life’s important moments and that you will all be part of this community that we are building together, surrounded by love.     A Season of Thanksgiving

    November 5, 2025

    We wanted to provide you with a brief update on our adoption process.
    We have had a few situations provided to us but we haven’t received a match as of right now.
    As we continue wait upon the Lord for the right birth family to choose us, we are getting our hearts prepared to welcome a new life into our home.
    As soon as a match does happen, we will need to hire adoption attorneys for us and the birth family. This is why we are fundraising ahead of time. We are aware that we will need to travel to the child’s birthplace and stay as long as that state requires. Usually it is 10 days. We would stay in a hotel with the baby until
    The attorneys have cleared us.
    Normally there is time to prepare for this, however if we are matched after the child is born, it all happens pretty quickly.
    Just wanted to let you know where we are at with everything. We have applied for a few adoption grants as well, however the companies have let us know that the need in this area is greater than the resources available. We are grateful for your prayers and support, now and always ❤️

    Home Study Approved!!

    Hi everyone, we have an update for you all. After many months of paperwork, background checks and training, we have passed our Home Study! In the state of Wisconsin, you must get your Foster Care License in order to be eligible to adopt. It is quite a process that involves our home, our family and our pasts. We had almost 30 hours of training and many interviews and we are thrilled to be moving forward with the next steps.
    We will continue to let you know how things are going with our adoption process as soon as we hear anything.
    Please be in prayer for us as we patiently wait for God to place the right birth mother into our lives, that we may be a blessing while we are being given this gift of life. Pray we keep our eyes focused on the Lord and our hearts open to whatever He wants us to do.
