We are so excited to grow our family through adoption once again! Becoming parents through adoption has been one of the greatest blessings God has written into our story, and we are incredibly grateful to be walking this journey again in faith and hope.

Adoption is a beautiful calling, but it also comes with significant financial costs, including home study fees, legal expenses, adoption education, counseling services, and medical expenses related to placement. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps ease those burdens and brings us one step closer to welcoming another child into our family.

As part of our adoption journey, we are inviting others to come alongside us through a special puzzle fundraiser with a goal of raising $10,000. Each $10 donation sponsors one puzzle piece, though you are welcome to give more if you feel led to do so. The name of each person or family who sponsors a piece will be written on the back, creating a meaningful reminder of all the love and support surrounding our child before we ever meet them.

As the puzzle comes together piece by piece, it will symbolize the community helping us bring our child home through prayers, encouragement, generosity, and love. Once completed, the puzzle will be framed and hung in our child’s nursery as a lasting reminder that they were deeply loved, prayed over, and supported from the very beginning.

We understand that not everyone is able to donate, and that is completely okay. One of the greatest ways you can support us is by sharing our story with your family and friends and helping us spread the word about our fundraiser.

    Introduction

    June 11, 2026

    We're Jake and Valerie, and we've been married for eight years.

    From the very beginning, life together has been full of laughter, adventure, and making memories. Whether we're cheering on the Cowboys, singing along at a concert, or spending time with family and friends, we love doing life side by side.

    Not long after we got married, we welcomed Dirk into our family. Our eight-year-old dog may look tough, but he's really just a big sweetheart who loves being close to his people.

    A few years later, our lives changed forever when we became parents through adoption. Welcoming our daughter into our family was one of the greatest joys we've ever experienced. She fills our days with laughter, energy, and love, and watching her grow has been the greatest privilege. She is already talking about becoming a big sister and can't wait to help care for a new baby.

    As we look ahead, we feel incredibly grateful for the family we've built and excited for the possibility of growing it once more. Our home is filled with love, support, laughter, and strong family traditions, and we can't wait to share all of that with another child.
