We have BIG news! We are adopting a baby. We are beyond excited to start this journey and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related cost can easily total up to 50,000 or more. This is why we have a set goal of 55,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up. We are beyond excited to grow our family and our biological daughter Addison (age 7) is more than excited to finally be able to be a big sister to a little brother/sister.
After years of my husband (age 30) and myself (age 25) trying naturally we decided adoption would be the best way to go about having another child. Especially with my husband himself being adopted ๐ itโs something weโve always wanted to do after having children of our very own, we got blessed with our daughter being our miracle baby and we couldnโt be more grateful for her. She asks all the time for a baby brother/sister so weโre hoping to be able to give her just that ๐
