My husband and I are in the early stages of preparing for adoption. Full transparency we are undecided exactly when (or where from) we will adopt, I started doing some research and figured I would get ahead of the game so that when the time comes, we can just jump right into the process of adopting. We know for certain we want one child, more than likely two, but we have thrown around the idea of three. I am unable to have children due to having a hysterectomy at 20 years old (long before I ever met my husband or even knew I wanted children), and now I am feeling the sting of that fact. Unfortunately adoption is our only option if we want to become parents. All donations will, of course, go towards agency fees, legal fees, and any adoption related expenses. Any funds not used will be refunded or if possible donated to another family in need.
