We have BIG news! Catherine is adopting two sisters from Colombia!
In the final stages of the two year process, the last of the "paperwork" should be completed in mid-January, planning for travel in late January, with a HOMECOMING of early February, 2023! Cathy and the girls have not been able to see each other since August, 2021, so they are ALL beyond excited to see this happen!
As part of the adoption process, I (Carol) have started an online "Baby Shower." It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related costs can total $35,000 (each!). Mostly, I wanted to start this campaign to honor the process of parenthood, as well as help ease the financial burden. Mostly to celebrate Cathy's new FAMILY!
