Hello, we’re Michelle and Josh,

We’re sharing something incredibly close to our hearts.

After a long journey filled with hope, heartbreak, waiting, and prayer, we have been matched with an adoption opportunity. A brave and loving expectant mother has chosen us to adopt her baby, due in September, and we feel deeply honored by the trust she has placed in us.

For us, adoption is not just a process, it is the answer to years of longing to grow our family.

Our journey to this moment has not been easy. We have walked through painful pregnancies, heartbreaking miscarriages, and seasons of wondering if our family would ever grow the way we had hoped. Through all of it, we kept holding on to faith that the right path would unfold in the right time. After more than 4 and a half years of trying to grow our family, and two and a half years of patiently waiting for an adoption opportunity, this connection feels incredibly special.

We are already a family of three, and our 5-year-old daughter is overflowing with excitement about becoming a big sister. She talks constantly about helping with the baby, reading stories, sharing toys, and being the very best big sister she can be. We can already picture this next chapter of our lives together, and it feels so right.

The total cost of adoption is approximately $90,000, which includes agency fees, legal expenses, and support costs for the birth mother, and required adoption services. Additional expenses such as travel, final home study visits, and post-placement requirements are separate and can add significantly to the overall cost.

We are contributing our own savings and are fully committed to bringing this baby home. At the same time, we are planning carefully so we can maintain financial stability as we welcome our child and adjust to life as a family of four.

Our fundraising goal is $45,000, which represents the portion where we are asking for support. These funds will help cover adoption and legal fees, travel related to the birth and placement period, final home study and documentation requirements, and help offset reduced income during bonding leave.

This support allows us to focus on what matters most: welcoming our child into a stable, loving, and secure home.
